'Drift', fused glass framed wall art - St Oswalds Bay, Lulworth, Dorset

This is a beautiful, unique piece of fused glass art that will look stunning when displayed on your wall and will be a gorgeous reminder of magical coastal sunsets. It is made by Wendy in her coastal studio in West Lulworth, Dorset and is inspired by the gorgeous sunsets over Lulworth Cove and St Oswald’s Bay.

Wendy has carefully selected, and hand cut gorgeous, coloured glass sheets before they are fused together in the kiln. The glass is dusted with glass powders for a rich texture and sprinkled with iridescent glass flakes which sparkles when it catches sunlight. After firing once, the striking white coastal flower design is screen printed onto the glass and re fired. The glass is then finished by hand, signed, and framed ready for hanging.

Wendy has been working in fused glass for over 20 years since graduating from Edinburgh College of Art in 2000 and receiving funding from The Crafts Council to set up her studio.
